There are a number of relatively unknown natural health and healing therapies that have been reported to help cure quite a few varied diseases. Some of the more well-known therapies are Colloidal Silver, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Bio-electrification. And lately, it has been realized that there is a definite mind-body connection that can also be utilized to heal. Summaries of these various therapies follows.
Colloidal Silver Therapy
Simply put, colloidal silver is a solution of microscopic particles of silver suspended in distilled water such that they will not settle out of the water nor chemically combine with it. It acts against one-celled organisms by inhibiting their ability to metabolize oxygen. This causes these organisms, such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi, to, essentially, suffocate to death.
The antimicrobial and medicinal properties of silver have been known for thousands of years. And, up until 1938, colloidal silver was the primary antibiotic therapy used in the United States. Whereas modern antibiotics can kill perhaps a few dozen pathogens, the silver colloid is reported to kill about six hundred fifty.
There are a number of supposedly respected websites, including government sites, that say colloidal silver is unsafe and ineffective. But here’s something to ask yourself. If it is neither safe nor effective, then why is it used in wound bandages predominately for burns, in swimming pool filters, in food preparation tools including cutting boards, and in NASA’s water filters? !! And, why is it becoming more and more recommended by forward-thinking medical doctors?
Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy
Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is, basically, a water molecule (H2O) with an extra oxygen atom (H2O+O). Hydrogen peroxide therapy comprises allowing that extra oxygen atom to destroy bacteria, viruses, and even toxins in the body through oxidation. H2O2 is not a substance foreign to the body. It is actually produced in the body for various functions including, get this, to fight infection.
There are also other ways that hydrogen peroxide helps the body. It has been reported to break up cholesterol and deposits of calcium in the body. H2O2 is also said to positively excite the body’s enzyme systems. Even so, the use of hydrogen peroxide therapy is not without controversy.
The greatest concern is due to the unstable nature of H2O2 in that it will very easily give up its extra oxygen atom, sometimes explosively (as when combined with silver). This can result in a very strong oxidation effect which, as we know, can be damaging to organs and other body tissues. This effect can be minimized and safely managed by conservative and careful dosing protocols.
Note: Caution must be applied when handling H2O2 in higher concentrations as it can be highly caustic. Keep it out of the reach of children.
Resonance therapy proposes to achieve a desired healthful result through certain frequencies which either promote a particular health function or work to diminish or destroy the activity of microbes. This may include music therapy as a positive influence. But, it seems the most prominent experimentation focuses on impeding pathogen activity through the use of bio-electrification, also referred to, restrictively, as blood electrification.
Dr. Robert C. Beck came up with what is known as “The Beck Protocol” to electrically kill pathogens in blood with very small alternating currents, without having to remove the blood from the body. His work followed a 1993 patent (U.S. Patent #5,139,684) based on work by Drs. William Lyman and Steven Kaali which did require that the blood was external to the patient.
Dr. Hulda R. Clark has also published a procedure to destroy parasites in the entire body using small pulsed direct currents. Her work followed the remarkable work of Royal Raymond Rife on the resonant frequencies of various pathogens.
Royal Rife discovered that by increasing the amplitude of certain frequencies which corresponded with the natural resonance of various microbes, the natural vibrations of these microbes would also increase in amplitude and energy, until their structures distorted and disintegrated from the stress. They, essentially, self-destructed from having too much energy not unlike a balloon popping from having too much air pushed into it.
The principle of resonance can be exemplified by the use of a specific musical tone to shatter a champagne glass. Everything, even the human body, has its own resonant frequency. The glass is already oscillating at its own frequency, the musical note just adds to it, and the glass cannot contain the additional energy and loses structural integrity.
Royal Rife worked many long hours at a stretch until he found the frequencies that would destroy a number of various diseases, and in a 1934 clinical study with terminal cancer patients, he had a 100% success rate.
